About the job

As a Project Controller Grants at ffiqs (Part of PNO Group), your work lies at the intersection of subsidies, project management, control, and compliance. You will be the link between developers, project leaders, and the finance team in their ground-breaking innovation projects. Through your efforts, the clients’ projects are ‘in control,’ allowing them to focus on realizing their innovation.

Alongside colleagues, you will guide clients in accounting for subsidies. You are thorough, detail-oriented, and curious about the (financial) execution of innovation processes, ensuring the successful financial accountability of the project. The ideal position for people who want to learn more about controlling and finance.

As a Project Controller Grants you will do the following:

  • Advising clients on the financial compliance of their projects.
  • Executing and/or verifying project administrations.
  • Drafting (financial) reports for the client.
  • Preparing and/or guiding audits by external accountants.

Ffiqs is the business unit in which PNO Group has consolidated its subsidy compliance expertise. With over 20 specialized project managers, finance & control professionals, and state aid specialists, ffiqs ensures the correct and efficient administrative execution of individual subsidized projects to extensive subsidy project portfolios for a broad range of public and private clients. Our compliance specialists ensure that clients maintain control over their subsidy projects. The work processes of ffiqs comply with both the applicable subsidy rules and conditions and with additional relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR. To ensure high execution quality, ffiqs is ISO 27001 certified.

About you

The ideal candidate has the following background:

  • A bachelor or master degree, preferably within a business or business economics-related field.
  • Affinity with and/or work experience in (preferably) a financial environment.
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Results-oriented with an affinity for innovation
  • A team player, thorough, and a persistent person.
