Transport Innovation Consultant

About the job

Are you a driven consultant with 3-5 years of experience in innovation projects? Join us as we expand our team of experts, focusing on European R&D initiatives in Transport & Mobility area. This role provides the opportunity to facilitate the connection between the innovative ideas of our clients and the many funding possibilities available for the realization of their R&D projects. You will also be able to participate in EU-funded R&D projects with top partners, to ensure the impact of the R&D activities developed to the consecution of the strategic objectives of the EU.

As an Innovation Consultant, you will:

  • Write and Manage EU grant proposals: Conceptualizing, visualizing, and refining project ideas to ensure high-quality proposals.
  • Deliver High-Quality Consulting: Provide strategic innovation consulting to our clients facilitating their engagement in transport, logistics, and smart mobility projects.
  • Leading EU-funded projects: Overseeing projects from inception to the delivery of official deliverables, including project planning, market and stakeholder analysis, workshop organization, business plan formulation, and exploitation (and/or replication) strategy planning.
  • Stay Connected with Industry Trends: Keep up to date with developments in transport, logistics and smart mobility, expanding both your own expertise and the knowledge base of our team.

About you

We’re looking for a candidate with:

  • Relevant Experience: 3-5 years in R&D and consulting roles, especially with Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as other EU funding Programs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the fields of most innovative topics in transport, logistics, and smart mobility, such as connected and automated mobility, electric and zero-emission vehicles, sustainable fuels, intelligent transport systems, traffic management system, mobility data exchange. If you have experience within areas such as automotive engineering, energy systems, urban planning, or logistics will be positively evaluated.
  • Educational Background:A relevant business or technical degree.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken, is required.

Our offer

Competitive Salary Package: €35,000 - €40,000

Flexible Work Environment. Primarily remote, with (bi-)weekly office presence, based on your location within Italy. Presence is required for periodical company and Team meetings. Travelling required for the attendance at project meetings.
