Are you a skilled and experienced HR professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Join our dynamic international HR team at PNO Group! As our business continues to expand across Europe, particularly in Spain, we are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to support our operations for both the PNO Spain team and the broader PNO Group.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in aligning HR practices with business objectives, fostering growth, and contributing to the success of our organization. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborating with management to understand PNO’s business goals and align HR strategies accordingly.
  • Leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture, and supporting the integration processes of recently acquired companies to retain talent.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees and as the first point of contact for employees in Spain on HR-related matters.
  • Supporting the complete employee journey from hiring processes to offboarding in collaboration with external partners (such as accountant, lawyer, payroll)
  • Driving the development and implementation of Group HR initiatives in collaboration with the Chief People & Culture Officer of the Group.
  • Overseeing the performance management process to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
  • Providing coaching and support to managers and employees.
  • Staying up-to-date on new laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

Reporting Structure:
You will report to and be supported by both our Chief People & Culture Officer and our Country Manager for Spain.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in an international, dynamic environment. (At least 5 years of experience within the HR domain)
  • Proven track record in change management and building engagement with teams
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with your team.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive, get-things-done mentality.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages.

95% remote working. Presence is required for quarterly and team meetings (usually taking place in Barcelona, Madrid or Valencia).
